Cant sorry

Does D not sometimes mean Distinction depending on the subject etc? I passed my GCSE's in 2002 so it's probably all changed since then.

Would it just not be easier to phone the school/college and ask them?

BTEC subjectsare usually graded D, M, and P.
Distinction, Merit and Pass

I'm fairly sure that the GCSE/FC and GSCE/B are telling you about the course or the exam taken - they're names or labels for different course designations. Sounds like he's got grade 'D's.

sorry.

GCSE/FC = Full Course GCSE/SC = Short Course
GCSE/DA = Double Award
GCSE/B = module: either written exam (“Board Timetabled”) or Controlled
Assessment/Coursework (“Not Timetabled”)

The grd1 column is definitely where to look for the overall grade
