Yeah these will have been the same people talking about flying cars and robots doing ironing 50 years ago.

    Nothing new under the sun.

"These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God".
    Genesis 6:9

    Noah was genetically pure...

Gene splicing is what is really going to change things.

For good or bad? Maybe science will create a perfect world inhabited by Frankensteins.

Flying cars and ironing robots, the future is here! (not for everyone though yet).

Great video and I don't see a problem with it. Too many kids dying due to genetic flaws not to push through with this technology. Those who are amoral will do it anyway so why blanket ban. As for genetic superhumans I can't see it happening.

Generally for good because rather than try and create things that have an unknown long term effect, splicing can simply eradicate the bad parts of a DNA strand without adding anything, so it should be possible to eliminate genetic abnormalities and treat other diseases and conditions at an early stage.

The downside is that because less people will die the world population will increase dramatically, beyond the current unsustainable position they we will find ourselves in now.

Luckily though, this will result in more wars, so rather than disease being one of the factors that keeps our species in check, it will be conflict as a result of greed vs poverty.

At least when we do finally blow ourselves to kingdom come, there will be no valid excuses trying to blame things out of our control.

So much easier to convert the lower classes into a subservient drone race and therefore manage the population. Regulating intelligence and fertility will enable a docile happy productive worker class. All they would require is Bingo and BBC TV

    WHEN DO WE WANT IT?
    Doesn't matter really.

Zika virus went from its first discovered case in 1947 and sporadic appearances up until last year, the virus is now in outbreak stage with WHO officials concerned that it may become a pandemic. World health researchers seem perplexed as to the genesis of the virus or at least, the sudden appearance and rapid spread of it in 2015. It just so happens that GM mosquitoes were first released into the wild in Brazil in 2015.

    Already explained.

Amazing how things start from one single rumour on the Internet.
