    Welcome to HUKD Woody_223

I think the best deal for a George Foreman is a World Heavyweight Belt + a quick but hefty left hook

Depends which size you're after really.

Let us know + I'll have a look again.

will get me out of a tight spot

I am interested in one of those. can anyone tell me where i can get one fairly cheaply? (i dont want a tiny one, but i dont want a huge family one either)

had a look in comet, they look pretty weird too. so a nice one would be a bonus.

I got a baby George for Christmas and must say I love it, the only problem is, it's not blumming well big enough. I love cooking and these do your bacon, burgers, sausages, onions etc absolutely spot on and quickly too.

Also vegetables can be grilled to perfection, I love cooking onions on it for my bacon, cheese and onion toastie.

Also you can grill fruit, I grill apples for a couple of minutes, mmmmm, nicely grilled fresh apples, beautiful.

I JUST WANT A BIGGER ONE, WAAAAAAAH!!!

    BECKYBOO

Here is a nice one at argos with £10 off now only … Here is a nice one at argos with £10 off now only £19.99http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4200112.htmOr the baby size for £12.99http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4223601.htm

Beerman1, i know! thats why i want one

If you have a Makro near you and you can get hold of a trade Card, these are on offer quite often. About £35.00 including VAT. Fantastic value for money.

wow great price indeed, thanks. looked at this tradecard on the makro website, seems like a lot of effort. i've never heard of this store either. There is a store 20 miles away. so do i have to apply for a trade card to get this for £35?

Yes, you need to apply. Do you know anybody that has a VAT number or a shop? It's meant to be trade only.

They have some really good deals, but you need to get there early.

well the nearest store is 20 miles away so i would have to go on a weekend. do their stuff get sold really quickly then? that grill for £35 certainly is tempting.
Are there any slightly smaller grills (i dont really need the fried egg cooker thing)

You will need to keep an eye on their website. I get a magazine delivered every two weeks. They don't sell these at that price all of the time.
They do sell smaller ones, but imo they are not that cheap.

ok cool thanks for your help dino. im currently trying to work out how their website works

    You're welcome.
Sorry I couldn't do more. Good luck with getting a Makro card.

    thanks a lot buddy

Does it have to be george Foreman as I think this will be perfect for you:

    amazon.co.uk/exe…sim

that does look good, i only say george foreman as hes a reputable make (and person). I've never heard of this make but the price does suit me, and if it does what it "says on the tin" ill be happy with that. have you got any experience with their machines?

I have no idea, I am stuck with a baby george that can only fit 2 and a half slices of bacon on.

That one is not as big as the George Foreman in Makro, but seeing as you are having trouble getting it from Makro you may as well give it a go. 4/6 chicken breast, or maybe 12/14 sausages, or 4 slices of bacon, or 10/12 slices of apple. That is probably what you could expect to grill in any one go on this one. (Seperate obviously). But they really do cook quickly, especially if the food is not frozen.

do you reckon this could cook paninis as well?

Are you asking if they cook paninis or will it fit a panini on the grill? I do not eat paninis so have no idea how big they are, but yes these grills do cook them. I would imagine one will fit on without any problem.
