    Get some FREE land!

OK theres nothing you can do with it but greenpeace have bought a plot of land slap bang in the middle of the proposed third runway site at Heathrow and are willing to put your name on the list of legal owners. I guess the idea is that it will make compulsary purchase of the land a hell of a lot harder if there are millions of owners to be represented.

Your name won't go on the actual deed (They can only have four names) but will go on a legal deed of trust which means you will be a beneficial owner who will be represented in any legal action by the four purchasers of the land.

To get your bit of the plot go to greenpeace.org.uk/blo…112

it will go ahead in the end - good post -

nice gesture and while I dont agree with another runway they simply dont understand how compulsary purchase orders work-its irrelevant whether there is one name or a million -when the order is served game over-wont make one iota of difference.

not to belittle what theyre trying to do-it certainly raises awareness of a serious issue.

the government has decided this runway is being built and thats what will happen whether we like it or not im afraid.

but sddnt the conservatives say theyre not (probably change rheir mind) going to continue to build it

very easy for them to oppose it in opposition-I think we all know what will happen if they get voted in-the pressure from british and foreign business for this runway is immense so therefore the ordinary persons views just dont count.

I signed up, not necessarily to do with saving the planet, more as a stand against the government when everything is hit by "Green Tax" to reduce CO2, yet they then authorise more

Planes produce tonnes of CO2, yet it's the motorist, pumping out a tiny amount by comparison, who gets hit with the green taxes.
