Can someone translate this into 'bloke speak'

I am not sure you would understand the importance even if I did.... like I dont understand what is so good about an AMG Mercedes that goes like....... that you cant drive on the roads!!( well legally & safely anyway!)

Well, i have personal experience.

I have remington wet to striaghts - never used them for that purpose, always dry my hair then straighten it, dont like the burning sound or all the stream that goes with it :geek:

I often use my mums GHDs, i would say mine are just as good as hers, its just hers seem to make my hair go REALLY thin, so i use them when im going out.
Its difficult to explain, but if i had a spare £90, id definatly buy a pair of GHDs!

I dont think any rival them really.

I wouldnt touch GHDs after seeing a pair spark into flames while being used on my friends hair.

The hairdresser I use wont have them, and wont let her staff use them either as she has also had bad experiences with them, and knows other people who have

Watchdog reported on GHDs because a number of people found them unsafe

I dont think they are much better than a pair of good ceramic straightners, and are definatly not as safe - I say stick with what you have

Thank you for your views everyone, greatly appreciated. I use mine occasionally, and was happy until I went to the hairdresser today & two senior staff absolutely raved about the new ones, so good to gauge experienced users!

Not a problem

Thanks for your help...NOT

I shall now go back to my teenage daughter and explain that any old straighteners from Argos will do. :w00t:
