Speeds can be shocking and their MD said last year it’s customers don’t care about speed!
Giffgaff runs off o2 network. So far so good haven't had any issues with speeds etc 🤞🏽
4g speed on Giffgaff is terrible where I live
Not sure if it's changed/improved but when I first got a 4G phone (how quaint now we have 5G) I tried their 4G Goodybag for the first time.

Walking around Glasgow City Centre I kept getting buffering (had to be careful how I typed that!!), my podcasts were eternally stopping.

3G Goodybags are/were better but I agree, as they piggyback on the O2 network their speeds aren't the best.
