Gift Ideas for Sister's 25th B'day

My sister turned 25 a few days back, she'll be visiting in 2 weeks so that give me a bit of time to shop around. I've always been getting her expensive perfumes+Choccies but I want to get her something different this time round.

My budget is pretty limited, I have £40-50 to spend this time round and once I get a job I'll probably buy her something else.

She's a mother of a 2 year old child, so she's pretty mature. She has a lot of stuff hence I'm stuck on what to get.

    Ideas please!

Look up Italian Charms on Ebay - you get get a basic bracelet and add up to about 18 different enamel pictures reflecting her and her hobbies and interests - shouldn't cost more than £25 even if you get expensive ones! Itis a personal gift - got one for my sister for her 30th and she loved it.

Alternatively - I recommend the twilight umbrella from iwoot - am tempted by it myself!

The best gift for a mum of small children is time for herself.

Depending how she and the child feel about seperations (the 'terrible twos' can be tramatic for both), perhaps you could arrange for mum a break.

Pay for her to spend an afternoon at the hairdressers, while you babysit, or a gift of a day shopping in town, with the cash that you usually spend on perfume and flowers. Alternatively, perhaps you could take the child out for a treat while mum has an afternoon pampering herself in the bathroom with special bubblebath for a soak and lavender perfumed candles.

It sounds like you can't go wrong with Palspal's suggestion - I think it's a brilliant idea.

£40 - £50 should go quite far for a massage or some aromatherapy or something. I treat my girlfriend to an aromatic facial at Clarins from time to time which is about £40 for an hour. If you have a Debenhams or Fenwicks near you you might be able to organise it there and they do nice presentation boxes for the vouchers....

i think anything where she can have a bit of "me" time is your best bet. Shopping, hairdressers, nails done, back massage, facial etc. You could always have a look online at any salons near her home where you could book and pay for an appointment. Sometimes your local salon will do fantastic deals where you can get de-stress treatments or a full body massage package for a really good price.

I just saw this offer on lastminute..

it's a 2 for 1 so she could take you, a friend or partner? It's £50 for a traditional Arabian ritual cleansing treatment then you can hang out in the spa/sauna/pool/steam room all day. I think it's about 1 1/2 hours from sheffield though so i don't know if that's to far from where she lives?
