Edinburgh by far. I prefer Glasgow to go to, but not as a 'capital city'

Glasgow for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously Glasgow is the better city.

Edinburgh is just plain boring

Studied and worked in Edinburgh for eight years, so it's Edinburgh for me without a doubt. I'm not a fan of Glasgow as it feels much more like a 'city' to me - you step out of the train amongst towering buildings in a massive grid, I couldn't stand working there. In Edinburgh its the castle looking over Princes Gardens with Arthur's Seat just beyond it.

It's always seemed like a cat/dog thing, most people have a preference towards one or the other.

John

gotta be edinburgh for me although glasow does have it good points.
To me they always seem the reverse of each other. I hate the center of glasgow but love more of the outskirts but I love the center of edinburgh but find the outskirts just plain boring

As it's my birthplace it's got to be Glasgow!

It has to be Edinburgh for moi. I miss going up for Hogmanay every year now my friend has relocated to London.

glasgow...very...um pretty http://ubicomp.lancs.ac.uk/~strohbach/Photo_Gallery/glasgow-11-02-02/Glasgow%20City%20N.jpg

Edinburgh by far !

i lived in edinburgh for 4 years, and i'm a country boy at heart. i hate the hustle and bustle, but boy, that city is beautiful. so many scenic areas, and princes street gardens is marvel. i love taking pictures there, they always look amazing!
