Kelvingrove art gallery, people’s palace

Visit the University of Glasgow and walk around the cloisters, go to the botanic gardens and have a wander around the kibble palace, byres road has lots of cool shops and cafes. The Oran Mor is nice for a drink. Is there anything in particular that you hope to see in Glasgow?

Recommend the ones above, absolutely. Plus, the Transport Museum is great, the Hunterian Museum and the nearby Charles Rennie Macintosh White House are worth a visit. For food you get a nice curry in Charcoals, Spanish tapas etc in Cafe Andaluz etc. Various music all over the place, check out What's On in Glasgow or the Skinny for info. Glasgow's brilliant for a visit, I hope you have a great time.

Don’t forget king tuts

On your first evening, walk around Sauchiehall Street, Buchanan Street and Argyle Street for plenty of shops and nice festive lights. Stop by the St Enoch centre as the Christmas market is just outside. George Square is worth going to also as it has some lovely lights and some fairground rides this time of year.

On your full day, visit Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Riverside Museum, Provand's Lordship (oldest house in Glasgow), Celtic Park and Ibrox (stadia of the biggest football teams in Glasgow), Gallery of Modern Art and there's plenty more to see. This should give you a decent start.

Wanted to cover very limited time on gallery & museums. Will be good if Anything suits this climate.

Head to the west end via the subway and get off around Hilllhead, KelvinHall. All the best restaurants are they’re. The Gannet, Ox & Finch, No.16, Six by Nico are all excellent.

Head to Paesano pizza in Glasgow central, best pizzas in the country and it’s a lot cheaper than Pizza Hut etc.
