    Gluten free

Can anyone tell me if there is a problem buying gluten free flour from a supermarket that is stacked next to a flour that is not gluten free, ie cross contamination???
Is it safe? and how much gluten would it take to have any effect?
Sorry but any advise would be welcomed!

doubt it, they shouldnt be next to each other but i dont think any cross contamination would harm you

Usually the gluten free flour should be in a carboard box then sealed in a bag inside. My mums flour is from prescription and thats how it comes.

Gluten intolerance is not the same as peanut allergy where traces of peanut e.g from a worksurface onto other food could still cause a reaction, so don't worry about it
