Going to Florida - looking for the best deal on theme park tickets!

Found 4th Jun 2009

my family and i are off to florida in september (6 of us, all adults). we have everything booked and sorted except the theme park tickets. basically we want to do no more than a day at each of the following -

disney magic kingdom
disney epcot
universal studios and islands of adventure (would like to do parks over 2 days)
busch gardens
a water park (preferably aquatica or blizzard beach)

from what i have read you cannot get disney tickets any cheaper than what they cost at the gate due to some new policy they have bought in, however if anyone thinks or knows otherwise please let me know!

as for the other parks the cheapest i have found is expedia as you can get 12% cashback through quidco -

sea world, busch gardens and aquatica combo ticket £87.14 (£76.74 inc quidco)
universal and islands of adventure 2 park bonus ticket £77.30 (£68.10 inc quidco)

so that works out, excluding disney, as £144.84 per person for 5 parks.

as for disney, we are looking to do no more than a day at epcot and a day at magic kingdom so we're considering getting a 2 day base ticket.

does anyone know where to get a cheaper tickets than the ones i have found?

sorry this is such a long and complicated post! any suggestions or tips anyone has regarding park tickets or anything useful for us to know when we head out there would be very much appreciated. hopefully other people will benefit from this post too.....

I found Virgin to be the cheapest for us.
If you pay by Virgin credit card you get 10% off, but they do charge a 2% fee.
Good luck.
I have always found undercover tourist to be the best - they send tickets rather than vouchers as well and have a good reputation on a few boards if you google them. However, given you only want a couple of days at Disney they may not be any better for you for Disney.
Have a look at the following link:
Where did you get the Universal 2 park bonus tickets please? I need 8 and that sounds a good price and how do I get quidco back? Thank you
You can try www.viator.com they have universal tickets at $106 for the two parks unlimited addmission for 7 days.
I used these last year, you print off your voucher and exchange at the park entrance for your tickets.
you could try ebay for disney tickets if you only want to spend a few days.
I found the Universal 2 park bonus for £76 at www.themeparkticketsdirect.com and the 3 park adventure ticket for £75 at www.pillingerworldtravel.co.uk
attractiontix.co.uk, use code pv14ds for futher discount ot go www.thedibb.co.uk all the answers there
hi bargain annie,

if you go to expedia.co.uk/pub…sdt you should find the 2 park bonus ticket. to make the deal really worthwhile you need to check out a site called quidco that offers cashback when you make purchases online. quidco currently offers 12% on transactions made through expedia. sign up to quidco, visit expedia through quidco and buy your tickets. you will then receive cashback through the quidco website

as for everyone else thanks for your help, any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you. I'm on to it.
