nope...but lemme know what the saw ride is like!

I have discovered my youth again thanks to my son re. these sort of theme parks!!

Before motherhood I just would stand and watch and think NO WAY AM I GOING ON THAT! but now I go on everything with him (but normally throw up afterwards:oops:) ..........but I have so much fun!!!

My advice is dont not go on anything - just shut ur eyes and go for it!!

have fun:thumbsup: and try not to eat too much before you start going on the rides;-)

the backwards roller coaster in the dark is mega pants

aww have a fab time..... its fright night there soon so i think we are off to that. If i was you choose the main rides you really want to go on then if you have any time then go on what you can x

I will definitely be going on all the roller coasters but I absolutely hate spinning rides (Rush, Samuri, Vortex, Slammer - all very spinny!) but seeing as I am doing a 300+ mile round trip, I will dam well go on everything (and then throw up)

saw, u must go on it, GREATTTTTTTTTT

made me ill too. went on loads of rides and this was the only one to make me ill. wasn't even fun. really annoying.

i decided to not go on Saw as there were 5 mins queues on other rides and and 80 min queue at Saw. went on the same ride 3 times in 20 mins (dont remember the name but it is near saw and is quite long).

Musts are Saw, Stealth, nemesis Inferno and Loggers Leap. Just avoid X:NoWay Out - possibly the worst ride in any theme park anywhere!

+1 Would never go on that ride again (No Way Out) almost threw up after that.

Loved all the big rollers though.

We are trying to take as little as possible so we will have to eat there. Surely Burger King prices are all the same regardless of location?

When we go alton towers we take a little cool bag with a picnic in. At alton towers they have lockers £3 for the day. i think thorpe park is the same company, so i think they would have this facility.

Hope this helps

I live 5 minutes from Thorpe Park.
I couldnt imagine doing a 300 mile round trip :?

As has been said food IS expensive.
I'd say you've got 2 choices.
1. There's a pizza place (think its actually pizza hut) that doea an all you can eat buffet but it is more expensive than normal but probably good value if ur hungry. Just fill up on that for the whole day.
2. Get a stamp at the gate. This allows you to go out of the park and come back in again.
Then go to the hungry horse pub that is about a 1 minute drive down the road and a LOT cheaper.
Don't know how old you are but If you've got kids it's a great little pub as they have a massive outside bit with bouncy castle, swings, slides, footy pitch etc.
As you come out of Thorpe Park turn right. Follow the dual carriageway all the way down to the roundabout. The pub is on the right, you cant miss it

Yes Thorpe Park do have lockers but i think the OP wants to take as little as poss.

Quick update;

Thorpe Park was brilliant (although getting there took 3 hours and getting back took nearly 4 - bloody M5 roadworks!)

Saw was amazing, although the beginning of quite freaky.

Went on nearly everything and felt rather ill afterwards and today my neck, shoulders and back are rather painful!

Almost forgot, rode on Nemesis Inferno with Duncan from Blue (he was filming for some tv show called Scream if you know the Answer.)
