sim cards are gold plated?

how much gold is there on a sim card, is it 24k gold plating?

does it takes 1000 sim cards to make a gram of gold?

would it be worth doing if that's the case as 1000 sim cards will cost no more the £10?

how much area could a gram of gold produce?

All I can hear in my head is..."This time next year Rodney we'll be millionaires!"

I see something on Bang Goes the Theory when they extracted gold from computers, it's really not worth the hassle!

they say 1000 sim cards could make roughly a gram of gold, so a million should roughly make a kilo.

a million sim cards will cost no more than £10k and the spot price for a kilo of gold is £37k

Actually you're wrong by definition a catalyst simply promotes a rate of reaction without changing/reacting itself, no chance of cars "dumping" platinum from their exhausts.

That means the platinum in the converters remains platinum. Nothing to do with the converter losing trace amounts of the catalyst out of the exhaust during normal operation. The poster is not suggesting that platinum is formed as part of the conversion process - that would be a real money maker if it were
