    That's exactly what mine does.

Stores all my favourite programmes so that I can watch them when it suits me, skip the adverts etc.

Unfortunately, the online store that I bought mine from hasn't got any on offer at the moment:(

Just been looking on Amazon. My digibox is on there . It's a Digilogic box with a twin tuner £44.95 . I've been told the most important thing to look for is the twin tuner because that's what enables you to record one channel while watching another one.
Amazon seems to have lots of choice on freeview boxes with recorders , cheapest about £35.
    Great Christmas present I think:)

cheers just a shame no quidco

Been looking at getting one of these. The bad news is that none of them are without their faults. The better makes (and more expensive) are Humax and Topfield. The "budget" buy that tends to be recommended on the avforums Alba 160gb one from Argos for £99 or there is the Hitachi 250gb from Argos for £96 (but this seems to be less reliable than the Alba).

Ebuyer are doing Digihome 80gb refubs for £40........
