Good program to use to record a video from the internet?

Would like to record a program that was on tv that is available on the internet but I don't think it will be for long. I know you can use programs to record yourself playing games, does the same work for a video?

I've done it with my camera videoing the tv but it's not very good.

Any idea what's the best program to use?

    Thanks!

It says it can't record the audio as the audio is already being used. Which of course it is as it's a video with audio!

    Any ideas?

Problem solved, the forums suggest selecting stereo mix under volume properties. Only problem was that it wasn't there. Right click and click show disabled devices and it appears, then enable it and it works fine.
