    Good Value For Money Laptop

    Hi,

I'm looking to buy my daughter a laptop for a present. My daughter is 16 and has special needs. So, what I'm looking for is something that is solid and a good all rounder. I am looking spend around £400plus. Any ideas?

obv depends on what her needs are..my son has a toshiba supplied by LA..my laptop is a dell vostro which is very sturdy. I did notice of all our laptops its the loudest speakers which is a good feature for kids.

She has muscular dystrophy and is able to use a keyboard quite well, but has a problem with fine motor skills. She would use the laptop for school work, watching DVD's and the internet for youtube.

Can she get one through the LA? if she needs it for schoolwork she may qualify. My son can write but has poor muscle tone so they suggested the laptop so that when he is in an exam situation he can benefit. He is 8 and has been learning to touch type (hes better than me or dad lol)

To be honest mate just for general sufring, msn etc any laptop would do.I don't think you would need to spend anything like £400, this looks a good laptop and also has blu-ray player for £299.99.I think it is a real bargain and really should be £400 at least.
