What's your budget?
Samsung ecobubble as it has a 5 year parts and labour warranty.
Budget is about 300 main thing is the warranty and overall performance. Had a beko now for 7 years time for a upgrade looking for 8 kg plus. The cycle time is also a factor as most the new ones I have seen have a 2 hour time . Just not sure to be honest and as black Friday is approaching thought I would secure a deal. Thanks in advance
Ecobubble "daily" wash is 1hour 3mins on ours.
I just bought Samsung eco bubble

Washes very well

1 hour 5 mins on daily wash (max 4kg)

2hr40m for 8jg cotton wash but I just set the timer so it's finished in the morning when I get up

They all have long cycles these days thanks to the eu
Check out the Samsung’s like has already been said or the LGs there are plenty in offer at the moment on here, LG is my preference after lots of issues with Samsung and their poor customer service. LG has or had one earlier this year that can do a 10kg wash in 52 to 59 minutes

Thanks for that , what LG do you have if you don’t mind me asking.

It’s an LG turbo wash, don’t know the exact model though.
Get a 10kg load one if you can , better at washing and spinning. We have had our Hoover for almost 4 years now no bother . Does a 10kg all in one wash in 59 mins that gives great results.

beko have an amazing customer service team and their machines last long enough
I have a Samsung QuickDrive model that was very expensive; double what I have previously paid for a washing machine (even with the £200 cashback incentive from Samsung).

AO.com have an offer on the particular model ("WW10M86DQOA") at present:

I won't spoil the surprise of the price when your click-thru, but it has been the best machine I have ever owned. It has an eleven-year parts & labour warranty too. I'm thirteen months into ownership. Previous machines have only lasted two to three years before failing. We do a lot of washing
Beko are cheap and work fine for under £200.
what ever you do dont buy a hotpoint. Rubbish machines.
If it was buying one now i would buy a Samsung or LG.
We've had a Beko now for 5ish years and its still going strong-has a 39 minute quick daily wash-i don't pretend to be an expert washist as long as my clothes come out smelling better than when they went in and they are cleaner i'm happy.

Another vote for Beko, after having a German rubbish machine.
I have a LG direct drive 8kg, which I’m sure had massive upgrades since as 5years old, but I don’t rate them I can only use liquid as if I use powder it grinds Also it grinds with any type of vanish... Holes in my washing personally I don’t think you can beat Miele but you are talking ££

We had two of these 9kg versions, first one the delay timer wouldn’t work with the weighted cycles, CEO team said it could be a design fault and replaced it. Replacement had the same issue and broke down after 2 washes. CEO team were closed so called the standard one and two hours later after getting passed around and around gave up. CEO team arranged a refund the following morning. With the cash back at the time and various price matches with John Lewis got it for less than £600.

John Lewis then gave us the full money back couldn’t believe it and we bought an LG, takes 52 to 59 minutes to a full 10kg quick wash against the Samsung which did 4 or 5 kg in 39 minutes. LG one cost a lot less than the Samsung as well.

Yep that’s why I said ours was a 9kg, though doesn’t matter what you get they sell it with the features and even call it a quick drive and it’s not that quick when the quickest cycle is only on half the load and LG do a machine that washes a full 10kg in not much more time. We had our quick drive for about 3 months and compared to a much cheaper LG we replaced it with there is no difference in wash performance just it will do a full wash much quicker.

I get it; you won't buy Samsung again.

However, mine is fine, thanks.

No was giving an opinion that there is no need to pay that sort of price for a quick drive that isn’t quick, if it could do the full wash in that time it’s worth paying the extra but there are just as good machine out there significantly less. There are machines that do a 2kg wash in 15 minute which can do 2 washes in less time than the quick drive.

everyone has their own opinion was just giving a different view point, as well as my rant about poor customer service.

It is quicker than my previous machine & the one before that.

It does a load I do most days in 19 minutes & that's quick enough for me.

Of course everybody has their own opinion. That was the point of this thread
I’m going to definitely buy mine from either John Lewis or currys saves all the headache when it comes to any issue with the machine.

Soo a mixture of opinions a LG , Samsung or Beko.

Any opinions on John Lewis one branded machines as they come with a additional warranty or a AEG BRAND ??

Thanks all for your replies

I had a hotpoint. The drum dropped. I have a Samsung now. Quickest wash is 15minutes and standard 1hour 3 minutes. Cleans better than any machine I've had previously.
LG washers are brilliant

Model I have is V7F4V709WTS

Thanks how much was this machine when you brought it

£550 only had it few weeks but the performance and noise levels are brilliant with 5 years parts and labour also uses a lot less water than many machines and electricity
