Great customer service such as Amazon ?

I have bought many things from Amazon and think they have EXCELLENT customer service should you have a problem.

In your opinion, which companies are up there at Amazon standard ? In terms of internet retailers who sell electronics etc ?

Crap customer service when they have a misprice (Which some people were sent, was the same price for days etc)

Amazon do give vouchers for misprices though.. might take a while though.
I have had an average of £15 per misprice out of em.
Just complain straight to their executive customer relations dept.

Iwantoneofthose.com have an amazing customer service department!

I'v always found Dabs.com to be superb. Never a problem returning anything and pretty competitive prices too.

Play.com. and SVP.Excellent CS.

Found Amazon customer service nice when they offer free call service from web and moreover offer free gift vouchers as much as £20, provided you can provde they were at fault. Its not that difficult so its worth negotiating with them. Overall good experience.

I did complain, as did many other people, all we got was an automated reply that said they are very sorry and hope you use them in the future

I am pretty good at getting compensation from companies, but nothing from amazon

I threatened to sue em for discrimination as I knew they'd given out compensation to others. Soon sorted it.

Amazon class for me. Can't say same for play:x

Another quality company to buy from is VikingDirect- one of best customer services around. Do everything to keep ya happy:thumbsup:

I found Tesco pretty useless. Wrong product type but CDWow have been amazing and quick dealing with any problems

Had a great experience from Prezzybox.com at Christmas. Ordered pressies with ample time for delivery, and it was getting to the last delivery day and there was still no sign of them. I phoned CS and told them the craic, and they put the item on an express courier delivery for the next day. Received it no problem, and they also let me keep the other one which they had already dispatched.

Then I sent a thank-you email to CS, praising them for their great service, and they then sent me a £5 voucher :09 :lol:

I ordered 5 items and sent them to 5 different addresses but due to their software system being crap they all went to one person which I only realised in my confirmation email. But in my Play.com account it has them all going to the correct people!!!!

So Ii rang them up and they said they could not do anything about it as it was now out of their department and in the dispatch department. I asked them if they had been sent and they said no. I said well stop them!!! Put me in touch with dispatch and I will give them the correct addresses.

They said it was not possible and the person receiving all the items will just have to sign for one and send all the others back. I will then be refunded for the other items and would have to re-order.

Strange setup considering it was their software that caused this in the first place.

So I contacted my mate and explained to him what has happened, he signed for one and sent the rest back. It took over a week to show up as one item refunded in my account, I contacted them and they said only one had been returned on their records.

I said yeah maybe one consignment of 4 parcels!!! Anyway I got no joy from them but strange how over the next few days the other 3 arrived as refunded in my account 1 by 1.

I was pleased to get the refund as each item was a £45 pair of Sennheiser headphones!!!

What I want to know is why they had no communication with dispatch to stop or change an order before it goes out?
