    Griffin Itrip nano help

I've just brought one of these ipod fm transmitters mymemory.co.uk/mem…/2Gmymemory.co.uk/mem…/2G
and no matter what i do, can't hear anything when i try tuning it in to my stereo. Has anybody got any tips or ideas if i may be doing something wrong before it ends up going back to the shop?

    I have a belkin one

All I had to do was plug it into my ipod and the frequency popped up on screen which I then tuned into my stereo. Easy as that. I'm pretty sure yours should be very similar

Oh good - I was feeling guilty for hijacking your thread

What stereo are you trying to tune it in on? If it's a car stereo I've found it can be more difficult as the car stereo will often choose an RDS station close to the frequency instead. In certain cars I can't seem to get it working at all, it justs skips straight past whatever mode I put it in. If you have a non-RDS mode where you can just manually move through the frequencies that's the best way to do it - as recommended above I find 88.1 useful as I've never had interference with it. Once you've got it working, save it to one of the memories in the stereo which saves you going through all the hassle again.
