    Groceries from Tesco.com

    I ordered 6 cases of Stella from Tesco.com while they were on offer for £10 and waited in for the delivery last night. The delivery slot was 9pm to 11pm but when it got to 11.30pm I realised they weren't coming. Rang customer services this morning to be told it had been cancelled because they were out of stock.

    Has anyone else had anything cancelled by Tesco.com, do you still get charged or do they not take payment until they have delivered and got a signature for the items.

    What happens is late the day before, or morning of delivery they put a hold on the total you have agreed too, then once your shopping has been picked and ready for delivery they then charge you.

    You may find there is a hold on your funds for a few days.

    would ring tesco back and for a £5/10 ecode to use next time you shop.

    a) especially as YOU rang THEM
    b) and also if the offer is now finished

    I was sent a £10 ecoupon for all the hastle but I might have to ring them back to see if I have been charged.

    last slot is 9-10pm not till 11pm

    This happened to me once - no delivery and only after I phoned them was I told it got cancelled because of snow. Didn't get charged but got a £10 voucher on the phone and another £10 voucher via email a few days later.
