The best high street brand I found is Aussie Miracle - that stuff could make straw look lush and shiny! :-D

The "3 Minute Miracle" does what it says on the bottle! It is a deep conditioner that is "Blended with Australian Balm Mint extract, this product literally works its magic in minutes - it smoothes away rough cuticles to reconstruct damaged hair, inside & out."

And for once it's product claims aren't a fib! :whistling:

It's not ridiculously priced either, with Boots quite often having offers BOGOFF's etc.

Point her in the direction of the website:

Check it regularly and they have the occasional offer too! (Sadly the one there at the mo has expired!) :?

Hope that helps!

can you sugest a hair product for my curly locks :giggle: ..no work to do at QT?:w00t:

a cheap option is vo5, I love their shampoos, they make my hair all lovely and lush, but mines not dry, or wavy, or curly, its straight and sleek

I love charles worthington too, they do a deep treatment leave in conditioner, I used it years ago when id had extensions, my hair was a state, and when id washed and conditioned it it was perfect

avon do some good deep treatment leave in conditioners, ive used them before and they were really good

Tresemme products all the way, keep your hair shining and work great for coloured hair like mine.......

and yes i'm a bloke

I use sunsilk and find it is great for calming curls - also good for greasy hair even though not designed for it...

May I also suggest a good hair-cut too! These treatments work to an extent, but if split ends are also a problem for her, the only option is to cut them off!

HAve to agree with the sunsilk. Also lush do a deep hair conditioning mask It is fab too but I would only recomend using it about once a month its quite 'heavy'

Consider overall health too. Poor diet, no fruit/veg, high alcohol etc will also affect the hair.

If anaemic or low thyroid levels this will also affect it but only if you have other symptoms of poor health as well.

I love the 3 Minute Miracle stuff, it's great, I would also sugest that you rinse hair in cold water after shampoo and conditioning as it closes the pores on the hair shaft leaving it stronger and shinier.
