The site was launched way back in 2004. Natasha Bedingfield was number 1 in the charts with These Words and the original Nintendo DS was not yet released. Shrek 2 was out in cinemas, Twitter was still 2 years from being a thing and we all wore Von Dutch hats.

We launched our first app in April 2012 (Basket Buddy... RIP ) which was then followed with the official hotukdeals app later on in the year. We're super proud of the app and we'll take the opportunity to plug downloads. Download iOS HERE and Google Play HERE

We brought you the elusive Flamedeer in 2012 and they've mutated considerably over the years. This is how they started....

Now look at them all these years later. Finding their identity and just being who they want to be...

In 2014 we had our 1,000,000th member join the site and the next year we moved into our first UK office in London.

We made a ton of new friends and colleagues around the globe in 2015 when we (along with Germany) founded Pepper. 2017 then saw the biggest site change when we released the shiny Pepper theme which we're still using today.

Our community keeps growing and as of today we're at over 2.3m members. We know for sure that there are still members using this site that joined in the first couple of years and that blows our mind for them to still be around.

As for those that have joined along the way (regardless of 10 years, 5 years or even 1 week) - thank you so much for your contributions to the site and for wanting to be a part of our unique community. Everything we do is with the whole community in mind because without you wanting to be here and playing a part (sharing deals or tips, engaging in discussion etc) we'd not be able to provide this platform.
