Easters been banned at my nieces school it's now called community unity egg day.

It's not the responsibility of the RSPCA to inspect the farms for animal welfare. They accredit them, and may inspect very infrequently, but it's the Council who inspect them for regulatory compliance.

Aww thats awful. I always buy free range eggs as they dont cost much more really and I always hoped that the hens were happier than the battery farms, but on reading that (i didnt watch the video) its obviously not the case at all.

Why not just buy direct from a local farm, £1.50 dozen free range eggs I pay and I can actually see the chickens and what they look like. There is at least 5-6 places locally I can buy free range eggs and Im not exactely out in the country!
