I've decided that this year I shall be celebrating Milka Planinc, who against all odds managed to become the only female head of a communist state in all of history.


Vladimir Lenin made Womens Day an official holiday in 1917, the rest of the communist world followed suit and it only took 65 Womens Days for the glorious equality to happen. It lasted 4 years.

Maybe one day, if some of those protestors get their way, in a few more decades the world may see another Milka Planinc.

Today we celebrate our wonder, strength but mainly we celebrate how awesome it is to be a woman!

We aren't to be held down by the idea as women we are only capable of what others believe we can do, but to champion all the times we never, ever give up.

We come in every shape, size, religion, and we will not be defined by the colour of our skin. We won't allow life to tell us who we are allowed to fall in love with, gay, transgender, bisexual, straight because love is love, just as men should be given the same decency. We execute our full right to make decisions over our body without the need for a mans approval. We aren't trophies, we don't need to hang off a mans arm to feel powerful, because we own our own mind, a pair of boobs and a vagina.

To the business woman, the stay at home mum, all the way to the women who have been raped, abused and bullied - It is time we realised our worth. Time to see our majestic as magnificence.
Today we celebrate us with no excuses, no worries that we don't fit into the social norms of society and giving nothing but a flying pigs over who has a problem with it.

We want to be celebrated for our mind, our body respected and not used, our ability valued and our intelligence accepted because we are equal.

I'm sick of being told the unfiltered reality of a womans body is not beautiful enough, we all come with stretch marks, sag, cellulite and sometimes the occasional arse pile. Get over it. I'm so done with being told real ladies don't swear when men can do what the hell they like while heavily respected for it. Shame these men aren't capable of thinking beyond their penis to see we really deserve so much more respect for being put on this planet other than believing we're just a walking vag begging to be banged with a pretty mouth and a tiny waist.

This is our healthy reminder to love ourselves beyond measure, believe in ourselves with every single inch of our mind and body, to know we don't have to wait for someone else to come along for us to find our own happiness.

Happy International Women's Day you absolute bunch of beauts.

I personally did treat everyone equally and found a offer for men's toys when asked.

It was international womens day so companies promoted sales towards womens but everyone was welcome to buy whatever they wanted no one was excluded from any promotion.
