Has anyone ever used an online suit tailoring service?

There are a number of online suit tailoring services out there... You select your style/fabric/extras, input your measurements and they make the suit for you (normally made in Hong Kong etc). Cost is usually around £200 which is massively lower than it would cost over here... but has anyone ever used one?! Are they any good? Please only comment if you've actually used one! Your opinions on whether you'd do it or not are irrelevant!

i know of two people who ordered prom dresses from their, and they are vile, so nothing saved for them, but alot more money spent on replacing the tat

    +1

also the dress sizes etc are all different think my friend had to order 2 sizes up, but the material etc was not up to scratch looked awful, would cost more money to get it altered here also

I use a tailor in Bangkok who is amazing, he kept my details on file from when I went on holiday, now I just choose fabric, lining and style, and within a week I have a tailored suit that fits me perfectly.

I usually pay around £200-300 for a suit, I could get it cheaper but am very happy with the service and quality. They are easily a match for my 3K saville row suit.

Trick is pick suit fabric from huddersfield and none of that Italian far east carp it is a world apart in quality.

Why would different dress sizes matter when buying tailored clothing?

Was this Raja Fashions by any chance? I've heard mixed reviews of them.

Hmm... Seems like the overall verdict is a no! Back to London I go!

I ordered one last year and it was disappointing. They did not follow my exact measurements at all and came up with an excuse: they say they have alot of experience and made the suit the way they felt appropriate or wutever.

If I needed an off the rack suit, I would have just went to M&S... (BTW, M&S suits are pretty good for OTR)

And I literally spent days reading EVERYTHING I could get my hands on for made to measure suits and it still turned out bad.

1 tip: You should have the tailor measure you in person. Sometimes, there are traveling tailors that come to a city near you where you can get your measurements taken and ask them any questions.
