I ordered a laptop from Dixons website on the 2nd May (last Monday bank holiday). They informed me I would received the parcel 48 hours after they sent me an order confirmation email, and that they would be sending it via DHL. I received an online tracking number.
Here's where it gets very annoying:

Passed to delivery courier 05/05/11 23:20 BRISTOL SERVICE CENTRE
Arrived At Depot 05/05/11 23:19 BRISTOL SERVICE CENTRE
Parcel with courier for delivery 05/05/11 BRISTOL HOME DELIVERY
Unable to gain timely access 05/05/11 08:03 NULL BRISTOL HOME DELIVERY
Out for delivery 05/05/11 05:24 BRISTOL HOME DELIVERY
Out for delivery 05/05/11 05:00 BRISTOL SERVICE CENTRE
Passed to delivery courier 04/05/11 22:04 BRISTOL SERVICE CENTRE
Arrived At Depot 04/05/11 20:33 BRISTOL SERVICE CENTRE
It seems they attempted to delivered it on the 5th at 8am and were unsuccesful. No note was left.
It states that the next two days the item was handed to the courier in the morning but returned to the depot in the evening without a sign of delivery (I waited in all day and had a note on the door saying to take next door if there was no answer).
What are they playing at? If the tracking is right then why does the courier keep taking it out for delivery but never delivers it?
Anyone else experienced this, or could offer any advice?
I have emailed them (no reply) and cannot find a phone number to call
