has anyone used the medical centre whilst being on a cruise ship?

just wondered if anyone had been on a cruise ship and had reason to vist the medical centre onboard ! ?
Just back from holiday on a cruise ship .On the second day of my hoilday i was in the jaccuzi bath up on the sun deck ,it was very hot and i just had my legs in and got talking to someone whilst in the jaccuzi and a few hours later i was covered in blisters where the sun had burned my tummy ,whilst the water was bubbling and in fact scolded my skin .I was in agony and sought medical help at the pharmacy when i got off shore for a few hours in marseilles .Just wondered if anyone knew how much it would have cost me to seek medical help onboard and what the procedure would have been ,would i have to pay up front then claim it back or would my e11 card have covered me ?

hmm not sure as i just only got my card done this week.
maybe seek health professional in NHS for help/advice?

yep, it's expensive to seek help from the on board doctor, dont know how much but i know it's costly. they charge a fee, then a fee for whatever treatment is given. Dont know anything about claiming back though sorry.
