Has anyone used the site kutesi.com?

Deals look too good, would like to be proven wrong but likely fake.

URL registered to America. But company says it's based in Scotland.

Also. I think the returns policy breaches dsr's which would put me off anyway as it could be a bedroom trader type just making it up as they're going along.

How good are the prices compared to other places you've looked?

did you use them in the end? the item i want to buy elsewhere is £275, but £170 on this site hmmm..

    Looks suspect ....
    1) Website registered in Canada
    2) Hosted in the USA
    3) According to some sites the web site has only been up for 69 Days (WEF 29/7/2014)

These, whilst note worthy, are not a major issue.

    4) The postal address is a block of flats in Edinburgh ....

Ok, everyone starts somewhere, but usually, even a small unit on a trading estate ...
If only NOT to fall foul of the landlord!

    But what the ...
    5) The website is 'kutesi' but has logos with 'cutesi' on .... errr what is the company name?

    However ....
    6) The contact us page says in red text :-
    "1) We do not sell.
    2) Our site provides only information."
Eh? What is that all about?
Sure does look like you sell!
    7) The contact us page needs information from a captra image to send the enquiry - except that the captra image isn't provided.
Conclusion - at minimum sloppy work on the web site or don't want to be contacted!
The phone number is a mobile!
    9) And when searched for is associated with selling a BMW in Cheshire and a motorhome, location unknown but not the flat. Both recent ads.
    10) The delivery information page is 90% about shipping the USA - odd for a company based in the UK!
    11) The delivery information page includes the line :-
"Unlike many other web sites that have special rules and lots of fine print, BloomingWay.com offers free shipping on all orders placed on our website, with no minimum order sizes or special exceptions."
BloomingWay.com - check of that websites "free shipping" pages, shows a blatant copy and paste exercise from BloomingWay.com of the USA delivery information - including the typos! (BloomingWay.com mainly sells cosmetics, with some electronics)
    12) The privacy page again reads like a text book USA page - odd for a company based in the UK!
    13) Search for the company name - as given on the contact us page and the postal address ... Results in NO goolge search results!
    14) The web site has a clear americaniseation about it - odd for a company based in the UK!
    15) The alternative language text on the home page for 'secured payment', 'free return' and 'free shipping'. Is, according to google translate from 3 different languages - Slovenian, Basque and Latin! Very cosmopolitan? Or identity crisis?

Now it could be someone setting up for the first time, but there are so many inconsistencies, errors and contradictions to make you feel very weary about them - especially the inability to contact them.

I don't understand what your saying? The website kutesi.com works? Or I work for them? I don't work for them.. I purchased a 32" LED Smart TV for my bedroom. It took longer to come but I got it. It took 8 days from me purcashing it

Who else has purchased off this site? They can also confirm its 100% legit

I too ordered a tv, took my money 3 weeks ago still no tv.

Have any of you geniuses tried clicking to buy something? It takes you to a site called MacMall which is legit! Seems nothing more than an index site!

Ok, MacMall may be legit, but that still means kutesi is a scam. Especially since the price suddenly jumps up once you are on the MacMall site...

I Google'd it first because it didn't look right smartars3, the plural of genius is geniuses or genii!

The point i was making was that people were saying they ordered stuff from there and even received but you can't and it doesn't just take you to one site it takes you to many and all at inflated prices in $ but some only a few pounds difference. No good to us because it's all in America!

So no not a scam because they aren't ripping anyone off and any clown can see the prices jump, there's proof two posts up

Helpful post saying where it leads you too if you click to buy. Macmall.com is based in America, hence the time delay for deliveries and the massively reduced prices for electronics.
Try searching for a Surface pro 3 on microsoft.com and get a price for the same spec machine from Microsoft.co.uk
You'll usually find the price in US Dollars is the same as the price in GB Pounds, hence a massive saving.

What these guys are doing is ILLEGALLY IMPORTING GOODS without paying the proper import duties.

That's not a moral judgement it's a warning to anyone buying.
1 - Highly unlikely but you could have whatever you bought seized by HMRC for evasion of duty (or get a hefty fine and have to pay the duty yourself - they always target the easiest source of income)
2 - What do you think is going to happen if you have any warranty issues with anything you've bought? with a mobile for a contact number! and an ultimate supplier in the USA!
In the case of the surface pro 3 (top spec) the price wasn't correct anyway it was a typical headline price con trick £944.72 but the price for the actual item was $1949 (£1213) still cheaper than Microsofts own price of £1339 but I'm not taking the risk.
