Has everyone received there del from the boots sale (1st one)?

My order which I placed nearly 2 weeks ago still hadn't arrived and the expected delivery date had passed, so I phoned them and was told my order had been cancelled as they were having problems that day!

As you can imagine I am not best pleased after spending about 2hours that day placing my £68 order.

Online there was nothing about it being cancelled, just said order received. All I've been offered is 1000 points, and now the items are full price that will hardly even buy one.

Anyway, anyone else out there still waiting beware.

Yep I got mine wed just gone. Have you looked at your account on the boots website it usually gives a delivery date.

Apparently they had problems that day, don't we know it, and although the order was received it was never processed. They won't even honor the prices on any of the items which are still in stock. Worst thing is I could have bought some of it instore if they had told me it hadn't gone through in the first place. :-(

ouch I would be miffed too, the site was useless and they still hadn't got it sorted when they put the sale back online yesterday. I started ordering at 9am the first time and finnally got my order processed at 4.30pm after being sent to the holding page and having my basket emptied 3 times, I also missed out on a few items.
You could try to ring again but reckon the 1000 points will bge best they offer.

total thumbs down for Boots. If a company as large as them cannot sort their website out then there is trouble! Have tried for 2 days to place an order. Have now given up. You cannot even email them as there is a message stating that their email system is down!!!! Have decided to write a letter instead telling them how disappointed I am.

I'm sending them a letter of complaint and pointing out the part on my order where it say 'delivery promise 20/01/2008' I'm sure it won't make any difference, but worth a try.

Looks like my son and sis who's b days are next week are going to get less than I had expected to give. :gift:
