    This came too £571

Now ive just been searching and have found a Dell Vostro 1700 spec as follows

has anyone used the voucher? I will call Dell tomorrow. If all goes through with the voucher, I will post it as a deal

Actually you get an even better deal. Get 320 GB (5400rpm) SATA Dual Hard Drive (2x 160GB) and save yourself £30 bringing it down to £540.

Dont forget to go through quidco

Thanks Kelly but I think to use the voucher you must call through so wont be able to use quido

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of Dual Hard drives? Rep for all who have helped so far!

can someone give me an ecode for this setup please. Also is it small business or from home section of website ?

Its a small business laptop Ecode N0117011

The Vostro seems obviously better. Just check though the things not in the spec - do you need a fork-lift to carry the Vostro around? Does the battery only last 7 minutes between charges?

Two hard drives suck almost twice the power of one and add weight. Play that off against the reduction in cost and increase in capacity for your own circumstances.

Thanks for the advice dp. I will take that into consideration. Battery may not be such a problem as I will be using it in my room and have it plugged in half the time. Will check into the weight sifferences. Thanks

Do your prices £570 and £571 inc the vat?
