Cornwell?

sorry cornwall

i lived close to it for a number of years, great for body boarding and surfing, so get a wet suit and board. st ives is across the bay, great for fish restaurants and tate gallery.
paridise park is in hayle, great if its dry and you have small kids, its got indoor slides as well.
flambards is the local theme park which carters for the whole family, especially the small kids.
i will try and find the pub that we used to use, which was in hayle and served great homemade food, and great ale.
padstow is a little drive up the coast worth the drive just to go to rick steins chip shop.

Thanks for that

hope the weather is nice, but thats not looking likely

Pain in the bum to find, but a nice little park. Can get busy. Beach access is steep off the park.
Nice park, but just too far for us to drive to gain

dont be tempted to drive to lands end, it a waste of a day.
bad news on the pub( Angarrack Inn) just checked and found the landlord has moved on and the replacement is rubbish. real shame he made a mean pie and a heavenly bread and butter pudding made with a pint of clotted cream. if i think of anything else i will let you know.

Have lived in Cornwall most of my life and it's fab! Newquay up the coast has a lovely zoo and has the typical arcades etc of a seaside town, and clubs/pubs for nightlife. Creally adventure park has expanded into Cornwall and is excellent for kids and adults, Eden project nr St Austell is a wonderful place, but young ones tend to get a little bored. Padstow is a nice small town, as above with various Rick Stein restaurants, cafes and takeaways, but you can also go on different types of boat trips from here, hire a bike and ride the Camel trail or visit the lobster market on the quay, where live lobsters are kept in tanks on view.
Falmouth has the National Maritime museum and again boat trips. Plymouth has the National marine aquarium, the famouse hoe, the barbican quaint shopping/eating area and indoor shopping mall.

Have a good time
