Haven't been charged. What should I do?

I purchased a couple of items from an established online retailer last week, which I then received a couple of days latter. After checking my VISA account i noticed I wasn't charged for this order.

I know morally I should let them know, but I don't legally whether I need to.

What would you guys do in my situation?

they'll probably click on some day so id just leave it be.

Sometimes it depends on when you order it and the company you order from to when they take the money out. I wouldnt worry about it. At the end of the day you have given them your card details so its now there responsibility to take the money. If they dont then that is there fault not yours. The worst they can do is request the money at a later date. Enjoy your freebies while you can lol

Don't worry about if they will either take it out in the next few days or not!
It isn't your fault!

Dad got a TV from Dixons valued around £700 and they got it-but it was a month before they took the money!

yeah not all retailers credit card transactions do real-time -- it's in the system so i wouldn't be surprised if it appears in your next month's account.

Well the thing is, I used a Visa Debit card, therefore it should appear straight away in my online statement. Seeing as it hasn't appeared, the retailer hasn't charged me as of yet.

I've had things i've bought on my Visa Debit not come out for 2-3 weeks after i got the item. It's not unusual as Tom would say. :-D

My local garage even waited 6 weeks recently before they took out the money for petrol.

i'd be quite suprised if they dont charge eventually, billing systems are usually pretty 'tight' for obvious reasons ;-)

Obviously the one thing to watch out for is if that account goes below the amount that you're due to pay, when/if they do it could send you into you overdraught or getting charged.....so factor that into this month's financial juggling!!?

I wouldn't assume "you've got away with it" just yet. Some companies can take quite a few weeks before submitting the relevant paperwork.

It think it will go out from your account within the next few days/week .... makes a change from it being taken out twice !! which I have had happen to me a couple of times in the past!
