Having a moan - why are so many shops so stupid?

Wilkinson and Teso Direct have mucked up my orders.
From Wilkos I ordered some toys and when I ordered it a hannah montana phtocube went out of stock and they never told me even though they took my money!!

From Tesco, they say 2 of the items I ordered a screwdriver set and a game both say "sorry there is a prob..." . Called tesco direct and they said that the game is out of stock and that they will give me a refund. As for the screwdriver set, I dont know whats happenned as they said it hasnt been checked in instore. I bought a monitor back in Aug and the website said the same even though I received the monitor but now I dont know what I will be receiving of my order tomorro night. WHY are they all so stupid?

Wilkinsons have ruined my little girls christmas.
I ordered lots of stuff from them including an i-teddy, got an email 2 days after they took the money to say sorry no stock left, but they still had them in the shop the day before.
Really angry with them, and still no refund after 4 days

get on phone and complain - try and wheedle gift voucher - specially as refund not one through
or go to shop - take emails - get manager:thumbsup:

They cancelled the photocube yesterday, although refund not gone back in yet - hopefully will go in tom! Useless!

Just checked on their site and they say the photocube has been despacthed! How can it be when they told me on phone its out of stock? Will have to see what I get when I collect.

Just called them again and now they say that the refund has gone onto my card, even though on their website it says despatched! Their comms are rubbish

that's nothing i ordered a glass candleabra off laura ashley on 1st nov they then told me it was out of stock about 4 weeks later & had supposedly refunded me :x. even when chasing up my refund last week they were saying it had been refunded but only after a 20 minute phone call did they admit they hadn't refunded me!!:x i'm now waiting to be contacted by a supervisor as i complained but i won't hold my breath :whistling:
