    having a nightmare with vodafone customer services and nokia 5800

    on march 10th I got my contract with vodafone, my 5800 came and was faulty, kept freezing and screen going blank,vodafone were out of stock but reserved me a new one for when the got them back in stock, rang me friday and said it'd be here monday.... waited in all day no one came, rang them this morning and apparently it never got despatched yesterday??? no one rang to tell me! I've rang them a million times just to be passed round different depts and hung up on..."accidently?" so I've just cancelled my contract with them!! now sending the phone back and am really p'd off!!!! plus I had £90 quidco through them boo hoo

    can anyone recommend a network with good customer services? I have had bad experiences from orange and now vodafone too!

    so I'm left with o2 and t-mobile lol, might just ditch the mobile all together lol

    I didn't even lose my temper thats the fustrating thing lol, I got through to one man who before I even spoke said "I'm so sorry, I'm looking at your notes now and can see you've really been messed about.... I'll put you through to the correct dept and they will sort you out.... sorry again" then he put me through to the wrong dept AGAIN!!!! ARGH!!! lol

    I'm afraid not they're the worst two in my experience. Voda have always been ok with me though, but obviously that's not what you wanted to hear :thumbsup:.

    You know they really should have offered you something for all that hassle. They're usually pretty good at 'compensating' for their cock-ups, which is what sets them apart from the other networks (in my experience) who tend to say say "tough".

    I've just sent them an email saying how un happy I am at being messed about so much, I took the contract out nearly a month ago, recieved it on the 10th of this month, was faulty straight away and have been waiting for a replacement since! I'll see IF they email me back but I shant hold my breath lol.

    Orange are usually pretty good as are Vodafone, however with all services there are always a few exceptions and you always here more about the problems rather than any of the good things that they do...

    The Nokia 5800 may have just been a software issue, so it might have been worth trying using Nokia Software Updater to update the firmware and seeing if that fixed the issues before getting it replaced.

    We get people in all the time who hate O2 and T-Mobile just as much as you dislike Vodafone :), T-Mobile customer services once made one of our customers cry...
