First question - entirely your own personal preference. I have a 360 with the HD add on and I think its superb - film quality is awesome. However, if you have a PS3, you may want to sell and stick with blu-ray. If not, stick with it!

Second question - DVD Pacific or Amazon.com (not uk) are good places to try for HD DVD's. Unfortunately not every film is available just yet (Scarface for example) but I got Goodfellas and Casino for around £13 delivered.

Think I got them both from DVD Pacific. Other films I got between that site, Amazon.com and Movietyme are We Were Soldiers, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Babel and The Departed - all of which I would recommend! Few others too, which were just ok!

i always wondered that roadie, say for instance if you had your computer connected to your hd tv and say you downloaded a hd film would it be HD quality on your screen or would you need advanced graphics card for your pc

I'm not 100% sure on that one, haven't had a chance to download any HD content as yet. Although with Windows Media Centre (Also available on Vista Home Premium) you can stream media from a PC to your HD TV via your Xbox 360. I would imagine if the media software can read the downloaded content, it would stream OK.

um if you have a ps3 and a hd dvd then sell neither because you cant buy certain films for each format (key studios we are talking here)

ultimately you will need both for the time being to be a happy consumer until studios start jumping ship
