    HDCP?

    Hi all ive recently built a pc and thought i ordered a card with HDMI which i wanted but i ordered the wrong card and it has HDCP, could please someone tell me the difference and will it still do the same job?

    what do i have to do do i need a lead or something for hdmi?

    yes, which lead depends on the connections but if it hasn't got hdmi then its probably got a dvi connector. you can get a dvi to hdmi lead but you'll also have to bring the sound from the pc , again the lead to do this will depend on the tv but its usually either a 3.5mm on both ends or 3.5 on the pc end and 2 rca(phono) on the tv end
