Not usually a problem getting finance as a student.. Most places will offer it - Eg LXdirect.

I'd go for a samsung panel, and only HDMI supports true 1080p (though you wont get more than 720p/1080i with £450!)

You might want to go look at them on display then price check model numbers - its mostly subjective and res isnt the only measure of quality.

Hiya

If you can, Hannspree do a 37" LCD (HD Ready) which are getting rave reviews (check avforums.com)..
It works out to £469 delivered...Obviously you can't use the argos card..I believe they do a 32" for £350 ish..

Defo think about it..

You can get the name of the sites that sell this TV from avforums.com, along with excellent reviews..

It'd be usually 12 months interest free paying either all at end of period or in small amounts each week.

fair enough, cant see many in my price range, would be good if dixons would give me finance because then I could get the samsung 26" for just under £500 are there any other places you know of.

You should be concentrating on your studys and not playing silly console games laddie !! :whistling: :giggle:

sorry to bump this topic up, just need some info on the samsung I linked to from argos, would this be ok for gaming, I understand I would need a dvi>hdmi lead thingy, but could anyone recommend this tv, as I essentially need to get it from argos and this seem to be the best for the price.
