Headphones for Running - that stay in.

    Hi all,

Anyone run a lot, ie 1./2 marathon every week or so.

All the headphones I have keep falling out, or stop working in 1 ear due to sweat.

Was advised to get over the ear - as the stay on (picture below)
also advised on Neckband as nearly waterproof. (picture below)

    Anyone any advise, please

    Thanks, SPOT on, REP added

A mate of mine has the Sony ones.
Does a lot of running and swears by these - had a similar problem himself

I have some Sennheiser PMX70's and they work a treat. I do run a lot and also work out a lot in the Gym. I also found that standard ones just break because of sweat or the sound quality gets poor. These should work just fine, I haven't had any iussues.

I can vouch for the Sennheiser PMX70's. They are mint and never fall out, move around. You'd hardly know they are there.

The only problem I have had with them is when it rains or if you sweat loads, water gets in your ear and the sound can go. But most of the time, they are nice and loud, you can still hear traffic, and they are comfortable.

I got my last pair from HMV instore. They were14.99 I think?? (don't quote me though)

    Very comfortable indeed!

I have the sony J10 headhpones, new but without packaging! never been used £7.50 delivered

I have Goldring GX200's with the comply tips. They are expandable sponge so they fit your ears instead of dropping out. If the tips become manky then you can replace them (mine are still going strong)

The only bad point is that the lead is quite short, but I would imagine you'd be using an armband or something similar? :-D

Mate buy the sennheisers, trust me ive tried virtualy every earphone out there in the last few years and they are the best for running.

can definately recommend the Sennheiser PMX70. have used them for daily runs for a few months now and no problems whatsoever

    yep agree with abve

i use the PMX70s and they are AWESOME when running!

No name/make (TCM I guess) over the ear versions in Tchibo for £4.90 if anyone interested. Good for gym use.
