    Heads up Springsteen fans!

22nd june is a date for the diary!

Blu ray and dvd release of last summers hyde park gig-the entire show plus bonus footage from glastonbury and the giants stadium. The gig opens with a cover of "london calling" and many fans, including myself, believe this was the best show he has ever done.

I just cannot wait! Will be getting the blu ray for sure.

Big Bruce fan and seen him 6 times from 1991 (roughly) to now, and I was in the audience at the Hyde Park concert. Not sure about it being the best show he's ever done - as he peaked as an artist and performer about 20-30 years ago :w00t: Not forgetting how brilliant the live at Hammersmith CD release was a few years back.

Anyway, cheers for the headsup. I'll be sure to buy it on release, will be great to have the bonus material.

I know it's apples/oranges - but Neil Young was even better on the Saturday night before.

doubt it was the best show hes ever done, but cant believe i missed out on seeing him on this tour

neil young was amazing too-I have seen bruce many times too(and I was at hammersmith in 75 after pestering my dad to take me)

What made it the best for me was the crowd, the atmosphere and the tracklisting-its hard for any fan to pick the best, but something about the whole day just did it for me. I may be in the minority, but I genuinely do believe he is better live now than he ever was. The whole hard rock festival last year was just amazing-I discovered the gaslight anthem, dave matthews was good live, killers amazin-the line up this year isnt for me but its an excellent festival.

I know what you mean, seeing Neil Young/Bruce on consecutive nights last year was near perfection for my own tastes. Quite fancy Pearl Jam as I love their new album, but probably won't bother this year. I'm carrying on from my Dad as he was there to witness some of those great stadium gigs of the 80's, the ones perfectly captured in the live Born To Run promo video.

Working on a Dream is a great rock/pop album, the impetus of that being new at the time, and the general euphoria in the crowd was a potent mix. Great night. Loved Hyde Park Calling last year.
