Best buy in the USA are not the 'best buy' anyway, Walmart has a much larger electrical section compared to our Asda, and a large percentage shop there instead

I cant really see what good will come of this, and being part owned by carphone warehouse means I will avoid like the plague

Competition doesnt always help prices (too much price fixing, and slightly changed model numbers), and the store model is an out of date concept for a lot of items, they wont be any better than Dixons/Currys, and they mostly are gone, Comet is Empty, Asda and Argos keep busy due to the very wide product ranges

I can imagine after the dust settles all the prices will fall in line with Comet/Currys but a pound cheaper or something...UK shoppers always get rum deals!

True, and I cant see what real money is to be made, I do so much from Amazon for the keen prices, would never buy a tv in a store and drag it back myself anymore

These days you have to balance your own fuel costs to go and buy stuff, and often realise delivery options are cheaper than that, and of course the hassle saved is a huge bonus, im sure they will offer home delivery, but so does (yawn) dixons, but who deals with them now ?

I just cant see many stores opening or doing anything different to just being a dixons replacement when I thought we finally managed to kill that monster!
