    Help / Advice Please...BMIBaby changed flights...can I do anything

bmibaby have emailed me to say they have changed my flights. So it was meant to leave Birmingham to Belfast at 19:30 and it has been changed to 19:10.

Now I know this is only 20 minutes, however I am going over to the NEC, and the show finished at 18:00, which meant that 19:30 meant I could stay to the end and jump on the monorail and be there in plenty of time, however now that 20 mins means I have to leave before the end. I don't want to do that.

So where do I stand, what can I do, any advise please?

What do the terms and conditions say when you booked your flights?

You can do nothing, apart from leave early.

In any case, there are often long queues at security, so you would be cutting it fine anyway.

Hateful, still annoying though, they just do whatever they want, and then when you phone up you get some balloon reading from a script which I think was the thing that got me even more annoyed, and all for the pleasure of 65p per minute.

I wonder if VISA can just cancel it for me?

They've moved your flight by 20 mins and you want some form of compensation?

    FFS!?!

Here's another thought, perhaps you shouldn't have booked flights so near the end of your event in the first place?

call 0844 2450055 they are usually quite helpful

No, because BMIbaby have not breached their T&C's that you agreed to when you booked the flight.

As you will see from my original post I have accepted that it is only 20 minutes.

FFS - What age are you, it was a question that if you could not help you have no reason to reply - FFS.

It was the last flight smart guy, thats why I booked it.

I never mentioned compensation I would have been happy if they moved my flight. The first flight the next morning was cheaper so I presumed they may have moved it alright for me.

I did phone them though before I posted here and got some balloon, reading out a script, hence why I asked here, to see if anyone had any similar experience, not to be shot down by another mouthy balloon, FFS - LOL!

ring again, a diff balloon might be less inflated, and ask to be moved to the morning. Nothing to lose.

I have read your little rant, but really, it doesn't circumvent anything I'd already commented on previously. Not too bright, OP.
