    Help! Anyone ever experienced this with Tesco Direct?

    I'd appreciate some opinion/feedback on this;

    I bought the 1TB Iomega HDD fom Tesco Direct hotukdeals.com/ite…dr/ for the £63.97 thanks to the £6 off £60 spend voucher. I rang up and cancelled the next day as I upgraded my laptop's internal HDD instead, & so was refunded the full £69.97, result right?
    It goes on . . . yesterday I get a phone call from my local Tesco telling me my order was ready for collection, so I go collect it.

    I now have a free £6 from Tesco & a free Hard Drive, will I get away with this or will they flag this up themeselves for what should I do?!

    I feel so dirty!

    I'll gladly sell it to u but I don't want Tesco coming back at me looking for the quan!

    Cancel all your cards, change your name, put together a cunning disguise, and go on the run. Then they will never find you! (p.s. take the hard drive and the £6 with you)

    Nah, I think you should just keep it for now, after all it is their mistake. If they ask for it back within a few weeks then return it. Keep it sealed up for now just incase they ask for it to be returned as they may be able to charge you again if you hand it back opened.

    I placed an order with tesco direct, who then said it had been lost and they had no more stock.

    However, I phoned the local store that I know does deliveries to my area, and the helpful bunch had a look around, and brought it out to me within 2 hours.

    So: Tesco Direct = inept fools, tesco stores - decent enough people.

    If its down to tesco direct, they probably won't notice, if its the store's loss - they may well notice

    Yeah think it would be down to Direct, as I just used the store for the free delivery, don't mind either way, hasn't cost me anything & might make a sneaky profit :-D
