    help cancelling sky please

    hi i've got the current sky account- full package , house phone and broadband in my name. we've got a voucher form a pal who works for sky for half price package for 1yr and free hd installation, its only for new subscroibers though.
    i'm planning on cancelling in my name, then hubbie taking out new contract.
    anyone know if we will need to change phone numbers, how long without broadband for etc??thanks

    if it the same surname & bank account i think they will figure it out. if you have diff surnames then it will work straight away. if not you may have to wait i think it is 6 months before you are classed as new customer.

    would eb same surname, but diff bank deatils

    yh sky get on my nerves always doing deals for new customers and never looking after long term customers!!!
    i no why they do it but still really annoying:x
