I have drawn to a close on ideas with this problem .

I have a netear nas duo and have my epson r340 connected to it this is then connected to my router.

I have managed to get my laptop to connect to the printer on the network and after upgrading the drivers its printing to the printer fine.

However i cannot get the pc (main) to print, i have again upgraded the drivers on this pc, when i go to print it sends to the printer and the icon comes up in the taskbar but then nothing happens. its like its sending but not picking up, it says no documents pending when i look in the print queue.

Can anyone suggest what to do?
Laptop running windows 7 po 32bit
home pc running vista home 32 bit.

thanks to those who can sort me out here.

I have to get this thing working as my card reader on my dell monitor are crashing my pc or just not working at all !

Remove the printer from your computer (not from the ReadyNAS). Log into … Remove the printer from your computer (not from the ReadyNAS). Log into Front View and click Printer > Printer Queue Service and take note of the printer name. For our Brother 5410 it was HL_5140_seriNow go to Settings > Printers & faxes in Windows > START and add a printer. Choose network printer but don't browse for one. In the bottom URL input field, you type:http://192.168.1.99::631/printers/HL_5140_seriThat's assuming your ReadyNAS is on 192.168.1.99By adding the port and location in a URL rather than server path it seems to avoid these DNS issues.
