First thing to try is to re-align print heads & do a deep clean. Epson provide the s/ware for this with the printer.

Run out of blue ink?

anymore ideas? lol

Green is mixed out of blue (cyan) and yellow - so it would appear your blue print head is clogged.

If you have installed the Epson status monitor (printer utilities) you should have the picture of a small printer next to the clock (bottom right). Click on it and select utilities (or similar not 100% sure)

Or go Control Panel, Printers, right click the printer and choose properties, click preferences

Should look something like this...

If you print a nozzle check you will be able to clearly see which ink colours are not printing.

Do two print head cleaning runs in succession.

Hope this helps.

Here is the Epson support number, in case you want to talk to them: 0871 4237766

thaks mate.....i figured it out...it was the blue ink...i changed it and its working fine now...the chip on the ink must have been faulty or something....appreciate the replies

I found another trick as well. In my case I changed all the cartridges but the Blue was not working properly. My printer software recognized it and showed full ink but on printing the blue color was printing as yellow. I found the problem. It was the sticker which left some glue on the air hole meaning the cartridge was air tight so the ink was not flowing. I removed the extra glue from the hole with a nail and made sure it was as clear as other cartridges were. It worked. I thought it would be helpful as well.
