Hold down shift key and right click on the document icon...you should have the option for open with. Select Firefox or approriate program from the list available.

thanks but it doesn't work!

what type of document is it that you are trying to open

use opera

Firefox is for browsing the internet, not opening documents (well unless it's HTML etc.). What is it you're trying to open?

Right click it, choose open with, then click choose program and pick from there

Or, right click, go on properties, and it will say what it opens with, you can change it from there

sorry for hijacking the thread but does anyone know is fou can save all your tabs to a memory stick?

I guess you want to transfer them to a different machine? Try Weave: labs.mozilla.com/200…ve/ it'll sync pretty much anything Firefoxy over ye olde interweb.
