don't build this. I just quickly found these on amazon to give you an idea of something you can get with ur budget. I didn't shop around for cheapest prices

Don't pay for a pre-built PC if you're on a budget, they are for people who have more money than sense imo.

Go to reddit.com/r/b…apc and soak up all of the information from people in the same shoes as you, they can help you put together a good PC for your budget.

I'm not sure if it's possible to play wow/any games in ultra with a £600 PC though.

you could easily do without the ssd, it;s not that essential. but for £600 ish seems a very good build especially with the 1070, even a 1060 could do the job, if you want to keep the ssd.

hi I'm looking to build my first gaming pc for my gf son on a budget of £600 but have no idea what goes together I can read on how to put it together and have added parts to other pc's I just need some friendly help in sourcing the right parts for the best price,I am new to this and would really appreciate the help, thanks in advance.

Hi davemanu,

My general way for for getting parts for pc's which may be wrong and bad practice but it has worked for me. also saved me some money
get stuff second hand unless it'll blow your machine up if it doesn't work,
So The things to get new are, psu is a 100% get new, motherboard is a meh, you can do you dont have to, same for cpu's it'll either work or it wont. no harm, generally you might want to get these new. the rest can be brought second hand.

so i would first goto ebuyer, ebay, scan and look across a few cpu's generally you want to be going for i5's

next once you have a cpu lined up go look through a few motherboards look mostly at the pcie slots.

ebay.co.uk/itm…769?hash=item1ebb0dd501:g:WCEAAOSw44BYFfZA

a quick look and i live in the uk so there is a cheap enough cpu that should go well. for motherboards you wanna look at the cpu socket.which for this is a lga 1155. so a motherboard of lga 1155 will be compatable

as for psu's unless you are think about going for an sli i would go for the cm v650 not much room for expanding, but it's got a good price and it's highly rated.

as for memory well i go to crucial direct because i dont know much about ram and its always going to work. for main memory ebuyer.com/726…sva
more than you'll need but because of price, why not. gpu well you could go ebay or e buyer but i would generally look for gtx 1070 or a 1060 preferably a 1070, doesn't really mater if you want second hand pr not it'll be a bit cheaper and there built to last. as for case the rule of cool spend what you have left of buy a cheaper case and get an ssd. your choice either put it toward eripherals or headphones?

but if you want a different option, look up at nobby 91010, it's a good build. i would skip out on the ssd and go for the 1070, as for psu, tomshardware.co.uk/bes…tml

but generally get psu new and second hand everything else for the cheapest go to e buyer and eBay look the description thoroughly before buying, so you don't get duped.

any questions dm me or pm me. erm send me a personal message
