Help - How to remove wood stains

Please can anyone guide me how to get rid of white stains (water stains) from wood? I have tried wet wipes and wooden polish wipes but they didn't work.

Are there any products available that I can use to remove the stains (DIY) and where can I get them? Thanks in advance.

    try black tea

try furniture scratch away made by kleeneze

if its solid wood can you not just sand it down a little? we had to do that with our oak fire surround as one of the kids drew on it

Is this wood or a veneer? Type of wood? and what caused the marks? Are they from cups?or just water stains in general? Whats the actual wood piece? Furniture?

try brasso. It took out white heat marks from my dining room table.

I had white marks on a solid wood table caused by putting hot stuff on it without a coaster when I was a student! The table doubled as my ironing board and when ironing a particularly stubborn cotton shirt (over a towel) the marks disappeared. Not sure why it worked, but a quick google search showed it wasn't just me as someone else mentioned it on this thread about mayonnaise (never heard of or tried that one!)…tml
Would only work on real wood though - veneer might not be strong enough to take the heat!

Thanks for the replies guys. Its actually oak dresser and the stains are from spilt tea when wifey dropped the teapot. This is how it looks like....
