Hey, I have just purchased a htc hero second hand however when I plug the phone into the pc it asks for ADB? Is this some form of disk to install the driver?? The phone didn't come with any discs. Does anyone know how to solve this thanks

make sure you choose the correct ones as there are 2 for the hero, one is for android 2.1 the other for versions prior

Im a complete novice this is the first HTC phone i've had so I don't even understand by what it means by ADB? lol

ADB stands for Android Debug. Download HTC Sync from the HTC website and it should install most of the drivers you need.

In the settings there will a checkbox for USB debug - turn it off and the ADB thing will go away.
