Hi, I purchased a new TV yesterday evening which has now been reduced by £43.70 today.

I used super saver delivery. The status is: On route to delivery branch. Scheduled delivery is 28/07/08.

Do they have a price drop policy?

Is it possible to receive a refund, or would the only way to be cancel the order, is this possible? Has anyone had a similar experience that could help me?

Thank you.

Sorry don't know if they have a price drop policy, but you can return the item unopened of course. Not sure about delivery charges, but presume the best option if to refuse delivery and send it back. But if you phone them and explain why you intend to do this, I would have thought it would be in their best interests to refund you the difference. After all, you'd just be reordering anyway...

:?yes i would contact them after all you havent got it yet and its dropped in price am sure its probably in there best intrest to rufund you just tell them if they dont just to cancel it and you will re-order it

Thanks for replies,

I have just rang them up and they are closed. They close at 19:00 and are open Monday - Friday. This means that the earliest time I could contact them via phone is on Monday which is the day it arrives.

Are you sure they are closed till Monday?

Give them a ring in the morning.
I can't see them refusing to refund the difference as you haven't even taken delivery of the item, just ask to speak to someone higher up if the first person says no.

Ah I see. Thank you! I will try again in the morning.

I have sent them an eNote so far.

eNote paid off. They replied last night with a very fast response that they will refund the difference. :-D

I simply stated the time I placed the order and asked politely if I could have a refund of the amount reduced. If anyone else is in a similar situation I would recommend that you do the same via email(eNote) or phone

Thanks for the help guys, and thank you to Ebuyer.
